Happy Monday, today I am bringing you a life story from Lavina Mehta, as shared by Mo Gawdet.


Lavina Mehta during the pandemic, decided out of nowhere, to help millions of people find health and purpose by doing modified forms of exercise that basically were available to everyone for free on the internet, for that, she was awarded an MBE. She went on to discuss publicly, very vulnerably and beautifully and intelligently, her journey with menopause, online. Lavina is a Patron of the Menopause Mandate, is a proud Ambassador for Diabetes UK and The Alzheimer’s Society


The big message is life is evolving for everyone!


Shared relatable stories can teach us how to navigate better and arm us with a toolbox of strategies.


In Mo Gawdet’s podcast “ SLO MO”, she talks about, “Exercise Snacking”! You do not need to always have a full hour for movement , take any time when you can get it. She talks about the correlation behind movement and reduced risk of chronic disease as we move up in our years of life.


Also, the importance of doing strength training can completely change your life trajectory. Her words make quite an impact “Movement For Sanity Not Vanity”.


What this is, is a down to earth real life conversation on the demands of life, and a realization that exercise is medicine with science behind it.


Physicians and Healthcare Systems are so time bound and cannot always equip people with the prevention tips that can make a difference.
